Hello and welcome to yet another dodge radio update!

I haven’t updated this blog in a while so, here goes.

First, replies to suggestions from my last post.

Felix got in touch, suggesting that we implement jingles throughout our automation.  I’d love to do this, as I think it would advertise the station allot better, but unfortunately, due to the fact that no dj’s can run automation for us and so, it has to come from the server side, the auto dj software we’re using doesn’t allow us to put jingles in, but if this becomes available in a future update of the software, then that will happen!  we’re currently running shoutcast, and I know that with icecast you can do this, but at the moment there’s no funds available in order to buy a icecast server so for the time being, enjoy the non-stop music whilst there’s no dj around to provide live content.

Ok, so now for the updates.

I am pleased to let you know, that Brian has now joined us to do his weekly country show, so feel free to listen weekly on a Tuesday between the hours of six and ten UK time in the evenings for all your country favorites.

He’s also doing random chart shows throughout the week so as always, keep an eye on your messenger clients for when a dj’s on the air.

I also know, that due to it being the summer holidays, Jade has once more joined us again to try and do a show once a week so again, keep an eye on messenger for when she’s on the air!

Also, if anyone likes what they are hearing and wants to join our station, get in touch at the address management@dodgeradio.net telling us what if any experience you’ve had in the past and what type of show you’d like to do and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.

I’m constantly updating our playlist making sure that we’re playing a good variety of tunes, along with the latest chart tunes so stay tuned and enjoy the music!

well hello dodge radio listeners,

dan here with another update!

well, i’ve noticed that lately, the playlist on the dodge live channel has been the same for a while, so, there’s some great fresh music to listen to now so if you ever want non-stop music when there is not a dj on the air, then feel free to check out Dodge Radio’s new fresh hits when you get the chance!

i plan to do more to the oldies channel soon, so keep a look out for more updates!

well hello again Dodge Radio listeners,

as you know, we currently have two dodge radio channels, one being the live station playing everything both old and new, and the oldies channel.

I would really like to start up another channel dedicated primarily to country music both old and new so if anyone is willing to provide funds for this, or can help in any way, then please let us kno at the address management@dodgeradio.net

This would be good as it’s something that’s not really big in the UK and some other countries to so it would be good for more music variety.
